Founding Partner
With over 20 years in financial coaching, Jim helps families and companies in West Michigan organize their financial lives and optimize retirement plans. As senior wealth advisor, he meets regularly with clients to ensure they are aligned with their goals, while working with institutional clients to keep portfolios on track. Jim brings passion and insight to the financial planning process, with a focus on prudent wealth management. Outside the office, Jim enjoys sports, officiating college basketball, and spending time with his family.

Steve Osterink, Jr., CFA, CFP®, AIF®
Chief Investment Officer
As Chief Investment Officer, Steve brings nearly two decades of experience to our team as well as extensive knowledge of personal finance and asset management, as evidenced by his CFA®, CFP®, and AIF® designations. He not only leads the Investment Team, but also is the driving force behind much of our development and innovation. Steve authors our Market Review, various educational videos and whitepapers, and investor education materials. He is passionate about educating investors and effectively communicating complex financial matters in a simplified manner that addresses common misconceptions. He is constantly creating new resources and methods to improve the financial advice delivered to investors as well as helping financial advisors to better serve their clients.

Brian oversees the Investment Team’s trade management and portfolio accounting systems, which includes implementing investment decisions, account rebalancing, cash management functions, trade execution, account billing, and performance reporting.

Janine leads our compliance program and supports our Investment Team by helping us adhere to legal, regulatory, and internal requirements and policies with the goal of promoting trust and reducing risk for our valued clients.
